Clean Ocean Access Activities Map
A local non-profit asked us to design a map infographic highlighting cleanup activities on the Aquidneck Island. I started by exporting a georeferenced TIFF file from ArcGIS and loaded it in to Blender as a Z distortion modifier to a plane. Next I added an ocean surrounding the land mass.
A local non-profit asked us to design a map infographic highlighting cleanup activities on the Aquidneck Island. I started by exporting a georeferenced TIFF file from ArcGIS and loaded it in to Blender as a Z distortion modifier to a plane. Next I added an ocean surrounding the land mass.
Here I began filling out the scene with various landmarks local to the island as well as critters, trees, and sailboats. Starting to look a bit more lived in!
The page layout was portrait style with a sidebar so I adjusted the aspect to reflect this.
Now I started playing with text and icons... still some work to be done here!
